FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything merchants ask before and after switching to SPV Services.

Getting started

Do I need a bKash/Nagad/Rocket merchant account?

No. SPV is built exactly for merchants who do not have a bKash/Nagad/Rocket merchant API. You use your personal number, and SPV reads the SMS from your phone to verify it automatically.

How does the free trial work?

Complete KYC verification in the app and your 7-day trial activates immediately — full API access, all three providers, unlimited test transactions, no payment card required.

Does my phone need to stay on?

Yes. The SPV app runs as a background service on an Android phone, which must stay powered on with network access to receive payment SMS. This is usually the merchant's own phone.

How long does KYC review take?

Our admin team reviews submitted NID/Passport/TIN documents and your live selfie within 24 hours in most cases.

Billing & plans

What happens at my transaction limit?

New payment links pause until you upgrade or your subscription renews. Upgrading carries your remaining days forward into the new plan — you never lose paid time.

Can I change plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrade anytime and remaining days carry forward. Subscriptions are prepaid — if you don't renew, service simply ends at expiry.

How do I pay for a subscription?

Send the plan amount to our bKash number, note the Transaction ID, and submit it in the app. Admin verifies within a few hours and activates your plan.

Security & data

Can SPV read my personal messages?

No. SPV only processes payment confirmation SMS from bKash, Nagad, and Rocket. Every other message on your phone — OTPs, personal chats — is never accessed or stored.

Can a fake SMS screenshot fool SPV?

No. SPV cross-checks the exact Transaction ID, amount to the paisa, provider, and time window against the live SMS on your device — a screenshot alone can never verify a payment.

What if my API key leaks?

Your API key is domain-locked on first use, so it cannot be used from any other server or website even if it leaks.
